Fowey Harbour is at the heart of Fowey’s tourism and leisure industry and is a busy, bustling and ever-changing backdrop to the variety of activities that Fowey has to offer.

On top of managing 1500 resident moorings, the Fowey Harbour Team welcome 6000 visiting yachts and motor cruisers to the Harbour each year.

Applying for permanent moorings in Fowey Harbour

Fowey Harbour manage and maintain 1500 resident moorings in the harbour. We recognise the high demand for permanent moorings in the harbour and have developed a number of mooring packages in response to this demand to try to maximise the efficiency of use of moorings and existing facilities.

Details of boat storage facilities

Fowey Harbour offer a variety of boat storage solutions around the harbour area from their storage sites at Penmarlam Boat Park, Brazen Island, North Street Yard and Old Station Yard car park in winter.

Packages at Penmarlam Boat Park can include launching and recovery by our team to make your life even easier. You can just simply let us know when you’re visiting and we can have the boat in the water ready for you!  Contact our team at the Harbour Office to discuss your requirements.

Storage at Caffa Mill car park is administered by Cornwall Council

Storage for yachts is also available at C. Toms and Son boatyard in Polruan and at St Winnow Yachts.

Use of Shore Linked Pontoons

at Albert Quay, Berrill’s Yard and Polruan.

Fowey Harbour provide shore linked pontoons for use by resident and visiting vessels.

Customs Reporting

Pleasure craft arriving in Fowey from locations outside the UK are required to report to the HM Revenue & Customs.

Anyone who owns, or is responsible for, a pleasure craft that sails to or from the UK is required to provide information about:
– the vessel, the voyage, individuals and goods on board

This was previously done through a downloadable C1331 form. This has now been replaced with a faster, simpler and editable digital form that can be submitted online.
