Welcome home to the Helen Mary R
We are incredibly proud to support the Morvargh Sailing Project and thrilled to welcome the Helen Mary R and its crew home to Fowey Harbour today after their epic trip around the UK. #ASPIRE360
Their crew of local young people were literally dancing on deck as they came through the Harbour entrance!
They were greeted by a flotilla of boats and a crowd waving from Town Quay. Once safely ashore, there was plenty of emotion as the young sailors were reunited with their families.
The Morvargh Sailing Project provides young people with an amazing opportunity to develop life skills, improve their resilience and experience the beauty of our coastline. As well as these longer adventures, they also offer shorter ‘Explorer’ trips. Check out their website for further information
