A visit to Fowey in a yacht can be enhanced by taking a walk around the many footpaths and tracks around the estuary and nearby coast line.
There is of course the famous Hall Walk, a circular walk around the lower harbour taking in Fowey, Polruan, Pont and Bodinnick. There are coastal walks to the Gribbin and Lantic Bay, River walks especially around Lerryn and around Lostwithiel both accessed by tenders or dinghies taking a trip up the beautiful estuary.
There are guided walks and organised ones further afield and the Fowey Tourist information office can provide information or make arrangements other contacts are available through the harbour office.
There a several organisations who organise trips to places such as Eden, Heligan Gardens and National Trust properties. The Tourist Information office has details of these or our staff in the harbour office can assist with taxis etc to make a trip.
