Fowey Harbour is a Trust Port with a busy commercial sector and is a popular leisure area for both residential and visiting boats.

The primary role of the Board of volunteer Commissioners is to shape the strategy and management of the Harbour for the benefit of harbour users and other stakeholders.

A long-standing Commissioner is retiring from the Board this year and so there will be a vacancy to fill. The position will be appointed from May 2020 for a 3-year term. There are monthly meetings and occasional other commitments. This is an unpaid, voluntary role and is open to people from all walks of life, who want to make a positive difference to the management of the Fowey Harbour and Estuary.

The person will be familiar with the area served by the port of Fowey and have special knowledge, experience or an ability which provides the Board with an appropriate overall balance of skills competencies and experience.
